My Favorite Design Styles —pt.1

There's something about the way a space can transform with just a few design choices that has always fascinated me. From choosing the perfect color palette to selecting furniture that complements the room's layout, every decision in interior design has an impact on how the space feels.

In terms of style, there are three particular styles that speak to me on a personal level - Spanish, mid-century modern, and Scandinavian. These three styles each bring their unique characteristics to a space and create different moods.

3 of my favorite styles

1: Spanish design is all about warmth and coziness. The use of natural materials like wood and stone combined with warm colors creates an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Ornate details like intricate tile work or wrought iron accents add a touch of sophistication that elevates the overall look.

2: Mid-century modern style is all about simplicity and elegance. Clean lines, organic shapes, and minimal ornamentation give this style its timeless appeal. Furniture made from natural materials like wood or leather with tapered legs or curved edges adds a touch of sophistication without feeling overly ornate.

3: Scandinavian design emphasizes functionality above all else. It favors light colors like white or pastel shades paired with natural materials such as wood or wool to create furniture pieces with simple geometric shapes. The result is a cozy yet understated atmosphere that prioritizes comfort above all else.

Overall, my passion for architecture and interior design stems from my love for creating spaces that feel both beautiful and functional. And while each of these three styles brings its unique flair to the table, they all share an appreciation for natural materials and clean lines that I find truly inspiring.
