Janine’s Real Estate Journey

I started my journey in 2010 when a class on entrepreneurship opened up my eyes to the possibilities of being my own boss. Instead of going down the traditional route and attending university, something I knew I didn’t want for myself, I joined a community college where I studied photo history and design, while also getting a glamorous job at Starbucks. I eventually found myself as an executive assistant for a real estate firm managing multiple properties, where I sharpened my skills in customer service and business administration.

This lead to my role at Re/Max as a broker’s assistant. I wore many hats here, and my love for this industry grew. part of my job was to assist the staging companies in staging our listings. The more I did this, the better I got, and eventually I was asked to work for the staging company, so I took on the second job. I found myself falling deeply in love with interior design. I was exposed to more development projects, and luxury real estate around Los Angeles. While navigating the nuances of these roles, my love for real estate only intensified — design allowed me to combine my creative eye with helping people achieve their real estate dreams.

After my husband retained his broker's license, I decided it was time to do the same and got my license while also obtaining my interior design certification.

Fast forward to today: I'm now living out my passion owning a residential real estate firm passionate about meeting the needs of our clients at all stages. It's been an incredible journey full of twists and turns — but I wouldn't change a single thing!
